COMPANY HISTORY
The design and concept of the AirTool was the result of over 10 years of research and testing by inventor John M. Monnich. With over 25 years of competitive swimming experience, he holds sprint freestyle records throughout California and received swimming scholarship offers from UCSB, UCLA, UOP, and the University of Nebraska. Highlighting his college career were a 3rd, 6th, and 7th place finishes in the 50, 100, and 200-yard freestyle events at the 1990 NCAA Division 2 Championships while earning 8 All-American awards that year.

After many years of fine-tuning of his sprint freestyle stroke while working with some of the best coaches in California the inspiration of a snorkel for swimmers originally dawned upon Mr. Monnich while in Germany in 1992. The issues at hand were how to create an air delivery device that could be used to teach people how to swim correctly, provide an exceptional workout and be used in competitive events from a 50 freestyle sprint to a 10K open-water swim without hindering the user.

Mr. Monnich has honed the invention through rigorous testing and manipulation of the design. He has invested money and time in the product ensuring that the AirTool is the most revolutionary snorkel in the world and that the patents are protected worldwide.
